Maybe your here because a bird flew into your window and you want to know a little more about it.

Sometimes windows are dark, they can reflect the outdoor space and the phenomena of birds hitting the window suddenly occurs. Sometimes if you’re sitting in the living room, as I was the other day a bird flew straight at me at full speed. Bang! It hit my window. I was left with the question (like you I am sure) is the collision with my window an omen? Is it a spiritual message from above? In order to answer these questions, I have undertaken a bit of research into the older omens of birds hitting windows. Please watch my video below where I go into specific bird messages and don't forget to leave in the comments the type of bird that hit your window so I can respond in my next video.

Here I will uncover what this can mean for you and your life. Birds themselves see in ultraviolet light, and because windows are somewhat see-through it can confuse the bird, additionally, things like shiny objects such as aluminum can be hung outside the window in order to detract or deter the bird from hitting the glass. I am going to deal with a number of different spiritual questions that you may have - if of course, you have seen a bird hitting the window.

What are the superstitions of a bird hitting a window?

Birds hitting your window could mean that you are going to encounter an obstacle in your life if the bird died. But sometimes, the bird just hits the window and you should not concern yourself with superstitious if it flys off. Of course, I believe "the bird" means something. As I have already said in the opening paragraph that the bird might have just crashed into your window because it could see the reflection of the sky in the window.

At times, birds hit the window carrying a message that we need to overcome obstacles. I will say, that you should not mistake this omen as physical death. In foklore, some books do say that it represents transition. Remember, even in the bible it states: when one door closes, another one opens for you.

So the bird could be closing one door in your life and opening another one. It could be that there is going to be an end to the suffering that you have been encountering of late (the obstacle); it could be an end to your own personal problems and now time to heal yourself. It could be an end to a relationship which is not working for you or a job that is upsetting you. So the message of the bird hitting your window may signify an end but a new start is in store.
