Ritual

Uncover hidden spiritual meanings

Similar to Rite but one which invokes or evokes the God and Goddess (or just one) for the purpose of casting magic.

A ritual is a set of actions taken in a particular way in order to acquire a desired result. Rituals are common throughout the world’s religions. From Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam and all of the Earth based traditions of Paganism.

The theory behind a ritual is that if one follows a series of steps in a succinct kind of way, something will be accomplished which will meet the specifications of the practitioners.

In Catholicism, the ritual of a Catholic Mass is done every single day in order to unite the practitioners with the body and blood of Christ so that they may be blessed.

In Paganism, the ritual of constructing the Magickal circle is the most common ritual practiced.

In this one is clearing away negative energy from a particular space and allowing room for it to be charged with productive and good energy in order to magickally create something to the benefit of the practitioner. Rituals can also be completed as a form of celebration of any of the holidays in existence.
