Akashic Records
Uncover hidden spiritual meanings
The primary consciousness or collective mind.
The Akashic records is from the word “Akasha” the literal meaning is of “Substance.”The actual meaning of these records is a universal system whereby knowledge is stored. We do not know for sure if these records exist as they are supposed to originate from the astral plane.
This is accessed through the subconscious mind. The primary consciousness or collective mind that is not reliant on space, time, or conceptual thought. These records are stored in the spirit realm or astral plane and contain a vibrational record of everything that has ever happened, as a sort of catalog of living energy upon the earth.
There is some debate as to whether the Akashic record simply records the data as a vibrational recording or if somehow the actions of the living things are predetermined based upon the Akashic records.
The records can be accessed and often are by those that are aware of their existence and others merely by dream time happenstance. The body of wisdom known as the Akashic records contains the knowledge of those before us and for witches and pagans they are a way to access information as a means to attain knowledge that would not otherwise be available.
For instance, if someone somewhere knows something, but never writes it down or never tells anyone, it is a means to attain this information even after the person has passed.
Certain schools of thought will talk about the human psyche as constantly being connected to the record simply because this is where everyone comes from.
The energy being the soul, it is said, is derived from the spirit of the Akasha and therefore we all have the knowledge made readily available to us if we know how to connect with the records directly.
It is not a task to be taken lightly as sometimes, too much information is too great for the human mind to handle. Many people, in pagan times have claimed to spend a large amount of time in the Akasha or accessing Akashic records through meditation, but they found madness as well as knowledge.
