In my spiritual work this dream combines a number of spiritual and psychological meanings.  This is a message, and also some sort of direction. The store closing dream is what I call a transition dream. It is a dream which says: Something is ending. Something is beginning. Pay attention.

The store is not just a place, it is a role. It's a mask I think a version of yourself. The store closing releases you of the obligation to earn your worth. Biblically speaking the store closing is something breaking down your belief that you have to buy your way into love or peace.

The shop closing happens to be the sellers end. The shop computes, plans, thinks about profits and losses. Therefore, the merchant thinks there isn't enough, he must compete, work, and hoard to live.

Therefore, the Spirit is killing the merchant within you so the mystic could be born. The mystic doesn't sell. The mystic doesn't buy it. The mystic is not competitive. The mystic merely receives. And the mystic knows that all is given to him by a God who doesn't withhold. The mystic knows that there is no scarcity in the Kingdom. The mystic knows the store never ever was the source.
