Store Closing Dream Meaning
Closing Store Dream Meaning
In my spiritual work this dream combines a number of spiritual and psychological meanings. This is a message, and also some sort of direction. The store closing dream is what I call a transition dream. It is a dream which says: Something is ending. Something is beginning. Pay attention.
If you think about it, a store is an exchange place. If you are seeing yourself walking down isles, maybe the food isles, the freezer part, the bread part or you are trying to hurry as the store closes it is about trying to stop something but you don’t have control over it. In the dream you come in the door with money, currency, something valuable, and you come away with something else. At the end of the day you pay a price.
In spiritual terms, a store is where you've attempted to buy something which could only be received. It's where you've been working because you believed you owed something. The store is not just a place, it is a role. It's a mask I think a version of yourself. The store closing releases you of the obligation to earn your worth. Biblically speaking the store closing is something breaking down your belief that you have to buy your way into love or peace.
The shop closing happens to be the sellers end. The shop computes, plans, thinks about profits and losses. Therefore, the merchant thinks there isn't enough, he must compete, work, and hoard to live.
Therefore, the Spirit is killing the merchant within you so the mystic could be born. The mystic doesn't sell. The mystic doesn't buy it. The mystic is not competitive. The mystic merely receives. And the mystic knows that all is given to him by a God who doesn't withhold. The mystic knows that there is no scarcity in the Kingdom. The mystic knows the store never ever was the source.
What does it mean to dream of a closed shop?
If you dream that you're locked in a closed shop, then you may be feeling as if you're too late for something, or not ready for an opportunity, possibly a job, relationship, or even a chance to move somewhere. It could also mean that you are having trouble gaining access to the resources, comfort, or information you feel you need.
What does it mean to dream of a shop that is closing (in the process of shutting)?
In my view, dreaming that a store you're looking for has closed down usually reflects your inner fears of a situation ending, and it shows a particular sense of urgency. Maybe your relationship feels more and more doomed every day, or maybe you're nearing the end of a job or a phase of life.
What does it mean to dream of a closing down sale?
If you see a closing down sale, then this is seen as a time for sweeping change, letting go of old values and habits, as well as making room for something new. People may also be thinking about money and value because of the nature of a sale (as opposed to clearance).
What does it mean to dream of a food shop?
The presence of food in your dream can often be associated with nourishment and its implications for yourself, other people, your community, or even a broader population. Dreams that feature food in a shop tell you a great deal about what you feel you need to take in from the outside world. Whether that food looks fresh or spoiled may be a significant detail.
What does it mean to dream about the freezer aisle?
Here's one way to think about the freezer aisle: Just like your emotions and plans can get frozen or put on hold, there may be things in your life you're not comfortable with right now. This aisle may be related to not having warmth and comfort at the moment.
What does it mean to dream of the bread aisle in a dream?
Seeing the bread aisle in a supermarket often has to do with the practical. The idea of bread is a symbol of getting by and making a living, so in dreaming of standing in a supermarket bread aisle it might reflect some anxiety about providing for yourself or your family. If you can’t grab the bread in time this means there is significant time to work hard.
What it means if you can't locate goods, pay at the checkout or even reach the shelves?

The job transition itself, the leap from one position or company to another, can be an occasion to confront or express this kind of anxiety. It's the tangible face of the fear of being jobless, a fear that hits home when it's your time to face that possibility, personally.
What does it mean to dream of a supermarket?
Shopping for groceries in a supermarket represents the many choices that present themselves in life. It's the process of weighing the options and selecting from them. The supermarket can sometimes be a symbol of provision and of doing the balancing act of meeting all your needs. A busy, well stocked grocery store can speak to a feeling of being in control, while an empty or disorganized supermarket could speak of being overwhelmed.
What does it mean to dream of a clothes shop closing?
Clothes are not just physical objects; they are part of our identity. So it is natural to find a closing down of a clothing shop to be an emblem for some form of change in self-image or personal identity, for the loss of a particular version of ourselves.
What it means to dream about a toy shop closing down?
Because of the connection with childhood, dreams about toy shops can mean deep grief for lost childhood memories. It can also mean that a carefree time in your life is coming to an end or that, for any number of reasons, you might find it harder to be fun and playful.
What does it mean to dream of a closing sale?
To be inside or in a closing sale in a dream basically means everything must go. Everything must be sold and everything must be liquidated, plus nothing can be kept back. There's no dead end in spiritual terms. Every closed door leads to another open door. Every beginning is an ending. All deaths are resurrections.
Summary of this dream of a closing shop
The store closing isn't the end, it is more a redirection. You might be getting shop-closing dreams when times are tough. And if the shop has been broken into, you could be worrying that someone or something is robbing you of things that matter, either materially, like money, or more profoundly, like relationships or emotional well-being. The area of the store that is destroyed usually indicates which of those areas you feel might be most harmed. It also might be a dream about closing the shop and that dream could indicate a desire to move on with something in your life, or it might reveal that you have feelings about your work. If you awaken from a store closing nightmare, do not panic. I like to think it is just direction. If your shop is closing then it can mean that things are going to a point of a new beginning.
