Rush Dream Meaning

If you are rushing about in a dream, maybe rushing to catch a bus or plane. The act of “rushing” moving from one place to another is very interesting.

Is a rushing dream a good sign?

Yes, and this is another thing that often gets overlooked: Not every dream is not full of crappy energy. As I've worked with dreams over the years, many times, dreams with a rushing theme show up before a huge leap forward, whether it's in life, like leaving a relationship that isn't working anymore or jumping into a new job. So one possible way to look at it is that when you have a dream in which you feel like you're rushing toward some big moment or goal, sometimes it's a reflection of that exact energy and feeling that you might have without fully being able to put a name to it.

What does it mean when you dream about rushing or being in a hurry?

This kind of dream happens allot, if you miss a train, bus, or other type of transport it may well be an wakeup call to look again at some key issue that you've overlooked in your waking life. I tell people: a dream that hits you once is advice, twice then you have to do something about it. There is also the dream of needing to rush but not rushing. I had this recently, I checked my airplane tickets just to see what time the flight is going. To me, rushing dreams do often reflect an inner state of being where life appears to be being run on a schedule but can’t quite get there on time. This is sort of a semi-missed opportunity. Yes I am not going to deny it can be an unsettling dream, however, it's important not to overthink.

What's the difference between dreaming you're rushing to be somewhere and dreaming you're rushing away?

You might think the difference seems odd, but it matters more than you might expect. In a chasing dream, there's always someone (or some thing) outside the dream trying to catch you. With a rushing dream appears then this tends to point to something you are trying to avoid. It could be possibly: a conversation, a truth, a person. In my spiritual work I always see this as avoiding what lies ahead. It may suggest you feel unprepared for some upcoming event or situation.

In summary, this sort of dream is not saying you do not have all you need right now in life. It's saying that, on some level, you doubt that you are ready, qualified, or prepared to do this, or that some external person may have doubts.
