Pipe Dream Meaning

If you have ever heard of the saying “a pipe dream” then it means a thought, goal or belief that something is out of reach, that it will never normally happen. If you heard that saying or saw pipes in your dream state I will explain what it really means.

What does it mean to dream of pipes?

To dream of pipes is about connection. I am sure you will agree pipes are made of something hard and solid, therefore in my spiritual work I feel this dream is about connection and moving from one state to another. The larger the pipe in the dream the larger the new element of life, or task that is coming your way. I believe that for some of you to see pipework in a dream, such as plumbing means that there will be some time before things are going to get good for you.

The condition of the pipe is everything, a pipe in a dream is never simply a pipe. Now what happens in the dream is important, it could be leaking or even frozen.

If you see a blocked pipe in a dream there is going to be a moment of truth If you see a frozen pipe then that means that there could be a double bluff If in the dream there is a rusty pipe this could mean that you maybe high alert If the pipe is very large (maybe your walking in it) then this means in old folklore there will be smiles, and you are half way through something in life. Dreaming of shiny pipes indicates you need to use your head think of it like a mirror reflecting at you.

What is the spiritual meaning of pipes?

Carl Jung spent his lifetime arguing that dreams of water represents the unconscious, and all that emotional material bouncing around under the surface. If water in the spiritual world is feeling, and spiritually it has been said that pipes are how you express that. In a weird way, pipes are what I call coping mechanisms, spiritually they are about routines, polite systems you developed to get emotion throughout your life without splashing the kitchen.

What does it mean to dream of a broken/bust pipe?

You dream about a pipe breaking open or going all over the floor, may just leaking the this indicates pressure in life. The burst pipe dream is often sometimes a genuine outburst. If the pipe was blocked with say cooking grease, wet wipes, nappies in a dream then this is about making sure that you need to restart something. If the dream is stressful then it means being chaotic in life.

What does it mean to dream of leaks in a dream?

To see a leaking pipe in the dream is all about where your energy is going. The pipe generally does not burst while it is frozen. It bursts on thawing. Ice expands and splits the metal and the damage is only obvious once the warmth returns.

What does being inside a pipe in a dream mean?

Many people dream about being inside the pipe. This could be walking or crawling along a pipe. This is a dream about finding your way, it could mean you have had your head in the clouds a little bit. Pipes also have ends, so it is asking if you need to stop pushing. To dream of poop backing up from pipework, this means something you thought had ended will be back. This could be something forgotten or an old friend or person that you know in life.

What does it mean to dream of a plumber?

Watch out for a plumber whenever he appears. This is actually good as an open, it is about completing something in life. Normally, I find these sorts of dreams positive and is all about making sure that you remain excited about what is to come next. If the plumber is someone you know then I think this is about completing something in life.
