Well, if it went everywhere in the dream it is about the fact you have been stressed out or felt broken in some way.I broke my grandmother's perfume bottle about six months after she died. Knocked it off the dresser with my elbow. It smelled like rose and hairspray all mixed up and this particular dusty sweetness of her bathroom. 

I stood there watching the liquid spread across the floor, and I was worried, not because of the bottle but because she was gone and I'd been holding it together for months and this stupid accident cracked me open. She doesn't wear it anymore, hasn't in decades, but sometimes I'll catch a whiff of something floral and powdery and I'm five years old again, watching her put on lipstick before a dinner party. The feeling isn't even happy, exactly. It's just there. Fully intact. Like no time has passed at all.
