People Waiting In A Dream Meaning

To dream of people waiting for you is another common dream that has a wide range of meanings. The key issue I find with this dream is expectations, the ones others have set for you, or ones you set for yourself. In most cases, dreams about this situation will not show up unless you feel like you need to be somewhere, become something, or perform a certain role in life,  and the part of you is afraid you aren't up to the task. The people that are waiting for you in your dream are most often a reflection of some form of stress or pressure that's on your mind as you live your life while awake.

Yes, quite a bit. I always ask those people who visit this site to think carefully about who exactly was standing there. Often times, there are family members waiting for you, or, more often than not, you feel there are obligations you have to those who raised you.

The expectation feels heavier when there is an audience, not necessarily a crowd, but even an imaginary audience of "strangers waiting" can make people feel that the pressure to do something is mounting. The "lateness" in the dream rarely refers to an actual passing of time, but rather to a feeling you may have of not being ready for what's ahead, of not being able to "arrive" in time, or maybe even getting judged by those who are there.
