Uncover Hidden Dream Meanings

Dreaming about a lock or anything locked is the sign of confusion.

A working lock indicates that someone is trying to hurt you, while if you are in love, the same dream foretells that you will be able to win over your rivals. The dream about a locked place can suggest that you will soon embark on a trip that will be successful. However, a lock that cannot be open means to ridicule and mockery in love, as well as a dangerous trip without any benefits to you.

In your dream, you may have

  • You see a locked door.
  • A locker.
  • A lock that does not open.
  • An easy to open lock.
  • You try to open a lock and you cannot.
  • You try to open a lock and you succeed.

Positive changes are afoot if

  • You stay open and positive to opportunities.
  • Stay objective.
  • Do not listen to gossip.
  • Embrace some spirituality.
  • Understand what is important about your life.
  • Stop judging yourself too harshly.

Detailed dream interpretation

A locker in a dream predicts difficulties. Pay attention to financial matters if you dream cabinets and offices that are locked, and you can not find the keys. However, if in the end you find the keys and are able to open the locks, you still have to be careful ahead. Dreaming about a locked door is the sign of escape from grief and personal weight.

This is quite a regular dream and is common – to be unable to get into somewhere because it is locked. This dream is an indication that you are feeling you are being cut off from people around you, and that you have been feeling isolated in some social situations. It is important for you to understand situations which have made you feel as if you want to give up. It is also important to recognize this situation, and how you reached to be here. The other element in this dream is that you may find yourself comparing what you have materially with others. The key message here is that you are judging yourself too harshly, and it is time for you to understand what is important about your life so that you can really take credit for your good actions.

A closed door means you may disappoint your partner, or you could be disappointed by him or her. If you are closing the door, a small loss or something unpleasant can occur. If you are behind the door, you may encounter some difficulty in solving issues. If you strongly shut the door behind you, there will be some gossip in regards to your private life. Shutting the door also means that you are decided to ignore this gossip, and not get affected by it.

The dream about a lock foretells trouble. Unlocking or a lock-in during your dream is a sign that you will finally be able to overcome difficulties. The dream about a lock is not a good sign unless you manage to unlock the padlock or lock, locked or blocked. The lock dream suggests inaccessibility, and that you cannot obtain what you want, while you deny an important aspect of your personality.

If you dream of a locked door, and you do not have a key to open it, you should pay attention to the details of the dream to understand the meaning. It is important if you are locked behind that door, or you are outside of it. If you are the one behind the door, this means your opportunities are closed to you. In general, anything locked or a lock in a dream is the symbol of whatever you do not have access to at the moment.

Dreams about a locker

Picture, this you are back at school. Stood in the hallway next to your locker. Everyone around you goes into their lockers, grabs their stuff, and closes the locker doors - with ease. You continue to jiggle the combination to your lock, but the thing just does not fit together. There's something wrong. Despite knowing the number and feeling ridiculous, it's impossible to get it open. This is embarrassing. It doesn't matter how many times you try, your locker won't open. It is difficult to decide which is more frustrating: not being able to access your stuff or worrying about someone else noticing your absurd problem. Many of us find that the situations that give us the desire to be at ease and other problems in life keep us locked up. But many people who have contacted me about this dream report they are very successful, happy, and enjoy life - so what can it mean?

Two things that make this dream so intense are the inability to do what others do with ease and the feeling of being cut off from what belongs to you. This dream is more common in women than it is for men. It can occur between the ages of ten and twenty most commonly, especially if you are in education. Your locker contains parts of your identity -  that you feel are missing but you can access them when you need them.

Dreams such as these can be caused by a specific event such as moving to a new place or a lasting feeling from a previous time in your life. Self-acceptance can help you feel at ease and allow you to get what you want. This dream can be used to remind you that you are still capable of achieving your full potential and energy, even if you feel that you have lost something vital. Remember, above all else is the bright, funny, and real you, even if you feel deep down a temporary loss.

You can take a lesson from the dream and realize that comparing yourself with others or performing for their advantage will only keep you from opening that door. Nobody really cares about whether you have what it takes to get there. They are more focused on their possessions. My advice to you is to pay attention to subtle feelings and listen when they stir inside. The combination is known by your inner voice!

We often go around life and pretend we have everything. Is that something you have done? The greatest obstacle to improving your life is the urge to pretend that you need perfection, no one really does. In time, we all have the ability to let go of the guilt and difficult past situations and have more energy and clarity in order to achieve our destiny.

Feelings that you may have encountered during a dream of locked/locker

Upset. Worried. Crying. Angry. Confused. Alone. Controlled. Wild. Surprised. Content. Amazed. Curious. Enjoying.
