Dreams About Pots or Pans

Well, this is strange, yes, pots can come in all shapes and sizes and it depends on “what” the pots are in the dream. This could be pots and pans that you cook with, it could be a witches pot or even a big pot that is on the stove. I want to focus on the side of “cooking” this is about pots creating something. If you like cooking (or you do allot of it) the pot dream is really about creation. 

If the pot was broken, not working, rusty or even chipped it could mean that difficult things are going on right now. Pots are often connected to a person in a dream. It is kind of as if you need to create something with that person, like a conversation or relationship. 

What is the spiritual meaning of pots and pans?

Do you remember that book called the faraway tree where there was saucepan man? This is about the fact that despite you have a load of stuff right now you are ready for preparation, for creation in life. Now, when pots and pans show up together in the dream this is, about creation, preparation, and service. You’re being shown the stage between promise and manifestation. This is all about the fact you have  gathered the ingredients (your ideas, your prayers, your lessons), and now God’s saying: It’s time to start cooking. Pots and pans clanging in a dream can mean your life feels noisy or unsettled,  but that sound is holy noise. It’s the sound of creation.
It means something’s is coming. 

But it can also be a warning: maybe you’re trying to “cook” too many things at once. Too many responsibilities, too many relationships, too many emotional burners left on. Spirit could be telling you, “Turn the heat down. Focus on what’s actually meant to feed your soul (that is what your angels are saying) Most pots are either silver or black. The colour is super important as this is about focusing on what is meant for you right now.  

What does it mean to cook food in pots and pans in the dream?

Cooking food on a stove (maybe it was boiling) signifies nourishment. Pay attention to what you are cooking in the pan and with whom you are planning on eating it with (if it gets that far). Are you eating alone? This might suggest a need for solitude. Are you eating together with other individuals? This could suggest a level of sociability. Can the food make you hungry or is it satisfying? This dream in my view, lets you know how well you feel you're nourishing yourself in different areas of your life. Does the food taste great or not? This tells you how you feel about what you're carrying out to nourish yourself psychologically, spiritually, or perhaps creatively. If you are cooking with a frying pan this is about warning you to not overstretch yourself. 

Is this dream of pots good or bad?

It is good, or so so. I will explain. Your only option at this point is learning how to taste. You need to learn how you can really feel once again, to feel enough to realize it feels bad when a wealthy, noncommittal loser is sitting next to you. You deserve to feel cherished, to feel inspired, to feel really alive. You deserve to feel, period. You deserve to take a step back and look at your life, not to imagine just how another person will see it, but to FEEL just how incredible it is to be right here, right now. I am saying to you that dreaming of pots and pans, frying, cooking or whatever the hell you are doing in the dream is about cooking up enough confidence to know that whatever you end up creating in life is going to be okay.
