Dream of Ex Coming To Your House Meaning

Dream of Ex Coming To Your House Meaning

From my channelling and spiritual work this dream is about that energy connection. You see we all are connected energetically (unless we cut the cords) and this dream is about the fact that your ex probably thought of you somehow.

What is the spiritual meaning of dreaming of your ex coming to your house?

Ah this can be a real crazy dream man, in that it is like they are suddenly there. Maybe a situationship, maybe connecting again. Maybe your ex husband or wife. If you see them approach your house, knock the door in the dream this is a reminder that you are the most powerful thing in this universe.

And the strange thing here about this dream is they are in YOUR space again from a spiritual side of things, like what. This isn't their territory, this is yours, and they've just walked through the front door like they still have a key.

This dream is about marking those healthy boundaries. Or more specifically, the ones you haven't finished building. Your ex knocking on the door in a dream means their energy, their influence, their voice is still getting into your personal space. Maybe it's a crappy song that comes on. Maybe it's a mutual friend who mentions them. Maybe it's just a random Tuesday and your brain decided to think of them for no reason.

How did they enter in the dream?

The most important thing I want to share with you is that you need to pay attention to how they enter. Did they knock? Did you let them in? Did they just appear inside like they'd been there the whole time? If they knocked, there's a boundary - they're asking for access and you get to decide. If they just appeared, your defences have gaps and your subconscious knows it.

Now if someone just came into your home without knocking on your door, without being invited, without giving you any explanation - that one should get your attention. That means your defences are leaking and your subconscious knows where they are. You know something is letting this person's energy back in but you don't know what it is yet. Perhaps it is a thing as simple as having their number in your phone. Perhaps it is a thing as simple as continuing to live your life within the patterns they created. In either case, they never needed to turn a key since the door was never locked.

What does this mean spiritually?

If you felt happy to see them, you're not done processing the loss. If you felt angry, you're further along than you think. If you felt nothing - genuinely nothing - congratulations, you might actually be free. Free of all their crap of the stress that involved them (if it did of course).

And the big one - just how did you FEEL when you saw them?  Whether you were warm or happy or even relaxed - you are still dealing with the loss and that is fine - but you have to be truthful with yourself about it. If you felt angry, defensive, you wanted them out - you're further along than you think. The anger is the boundary it is trying to construct. Let it.

If you actually felt nothing - nothing - not performed nothing - not pretending I care nothing - real nothing - congratulations. It was just your brain running one last love check. So they went up to your home, you looked at them, and you felt nothing more.  The nothing feeling in your dream is something most people don't get for a long time. And that's fine. Healing is not one line…. and your dreams will bring them to your door until nothing more resolves.

What does it mean to dream of an ex visiting your house?

A visit is different from coming over. A visit has a time limit. A visit means they're passing through, looking around at what you've built since them, and then leaving. This is a progress check dream. Your subconscious is showing you your own life through their eyes. Look at what you've done. Look at the house you built after they left. Are you proud of the rooms? Are there parts you haven't decorated yet, walls still bare, spaces you haven't filled? This dream is less about them and more about you measuring how far you've come. They're just the measuring stick your brain chose to use.

Summary

In summary, I've learned from writing dream meanings over nearly three decades. Your emotional state is the house in your dream. You make every room part of you. And where did your ex go once they came in?! Did they stand in the hallway - where they're just at the surface of your thoughts but not really digging in? Did they go into your kitchen - where you feed yourself? And did they walk straight into your bedroom? That gives you an idea of which part of your emotional life they're still in.
