I woke up a bit stressed when I dreamed of my friend passing.

Not peacefully. Not gently. Just... gone. And I did what every rational person would do when their brain when this happens during sleep - I text her the next morning to see if she was still breathing - she was still alive at 8 am her time. I know this might freak you out but in your dream someone dies but something is dying inside of YOU. Some version of yourself is moving towards something new, amputating, killing off so something else grows in its place. Death in dreams means something's changing or ending in your life. And, its not totally poetic. It is not that mystical. The brain is showing you what it already is, in that there are different versions of you. I also hate to say this but it can also mean that you are facing a toxic kind of relationship. Ask yourself, what does that friend stand for/represent? Are they confident?
