Appointment Dream Meaning

In all my years doing this dream website, an appointment can be very important in the dream, depending on what the appointment is.

• Appointments in dreams are about something important in life.
• In my old dream books it is is about your future
• The dream is about opportunity as well as a hidden warning if the appointment is not that great.

If you are dreaming about an appointment it can be a signal or a sign in order to do something in waking life. In my experience and channelled messages you need to figure out what the appointment was, if you were late or if this appointment in the dream means something.

To dream of a hospital appointment could signal things to do with your health. If it was an appointment at work then this can indicate that there maybe work stresses. In my work (mediumship) I often find that these sorts of dreams need to focus on what is right.  To be honest, if you are keeping pace with the flow of life and the stuff that you need to do this dream feels like two different things that could happen.  

If you dream about going to your doctor's appointment and things go well, then this is a good dream, congratulations, you're on the mend in more ways than one, if, however, you mess up the visit, can't find the office, things don’t go that well., the message may be: you're avoiding something in your life.

If you dream about a job interview or work appointment... what does it mean?

People in the final stages of an interview often email me dreams of missing an interview or wondering what will happen like if they will get a job or not. This makes sense; most people find an interview a high-pressure time where self-assessment is a focus, and not just the interviewer's impression. If you're too early for the appointment, ready to anser questions, this is clearly about waking experience. If, however, you're running to the door in a tie or smart clothes, that were not there 5 minutes ago, and you were just completely thrown then this is about not understanding what is important when it comes to work.

What does it mean to dream of court/police or a hearing appointment?

To dream about a court appointment or meeting with an authority person....like a police officer. There are a lot of things in life that carry a bit more weight, so I tend to take it pretty seriously when someone brings it to me. Going to a courtroom in a dream, or seeing an important official person, this has something to do with your desire to answer or make amends for something you've done, said, or not done. It doesn't have to mean that you've done something wrong. 

What does it mean to dream of meeting someone, perhaps on a blind date or meeting a stranger?

To dream of a date (maybe a time of place) this means that something may come up in waking life. When you meet someone in a dream during a specific time and place, they probably represent something new within yourself. I also feel this is about your life direction, dreams, goals, or desires. If this feels strange, maybe you're meeting another person and it feels uncomfortable then it probably isn't time to set things in stone at the moment. Spiritually, it is about moving forward in life.
 

What does it mean to dream of time and place?

Some dreams you are told a time and place. Maybe a year, and you may be wondering what this means. It is hard to say completely what this means, keep an open mind the next time you are dreaming and recall a sequence of numbers, like a clock or phone number. I will also say to you, pay particular attention to any number repeated which are known as angel numbers in the dream.

But for many people they often wake up at around 3 a.m. that carries very special meaning. Traditionally it was known as a "witching hour," a time when the world is said to change slightly as the barriers between this world and another are what I call “thin” Most people whose dreams focus on appointments scheduled in unusual or scary hours aren't really dreaming, either. If you noticed a 3:00 appointment in a dream this is about focus on what is serving you in life and not to get tied up in all the other crap.

What does missing an appointment mean in a dream?

To miss an important appointment is nested in your own internal anxiety, to dream about an appointment this is asking you to look at how things around you are playing out. Sometimes we reach our darkest times and other times we need to focus on what is important to us. I like to turn to scriptures when looking at a dream, these are clear: none of our time is wasted. I think this dream is asking you to trust you gut, that nothing of your life is wasted, either.
