In ancient Indian civilizations, lions are used as symbols of dynasties, the figure of lions standing back to back was used during the Maura Dynasty. Mayan and Aztec describe the lion as a warrior. In fact they have an ancient belief that their warriors change into cats, and the one who can transform as a lion is the greatest warrior of them all. In Greek Mythology a lion is often seen battling with Heracles. The Nemean lion is a vicious monster and is included with Heracles 12 jobs. The lion is also one of the Astrological sign.
