An oblong face is normally widest at the forehead and narrows towards the chin. An oblong face is also known in face reading as the wood face. The wood face name is derived from Chinese face reading. This face has many features that differentiates it from other face shapes.  The eyes are rather wide and come across as being kind. The hair of the wood person is normally smooth and fine, rather than curly or wiry and thick. The forehead is wide and high. This person is emotional but up for any challenge that life can throw their way since the excitement and uncertainty of taxing situations make them feel alive.

When they try to satisfy their hunger for adventure and stimulation, their never-ending energy and vital spark provide them with the potential to create amazing things. They are great lovers as well.
