The Six Of Wands Feelings As Feelings

It my experience as a tarot reader for 30 years, this is one of the more positive cards to pull for how someone feels about a love interest. This person is not on the fence about you. In many readings over the years this card has helped people realize where they stand. If you draw this card in a feelings spread, this is not a confused person whose feelings are not known. This is somebody who has decided already to take this relationship forward, and the decision feels good.

As a professional tarot reader I tell my students this is no card for private love, the Six of Wands is a public love, this is because this card means celebrations. It's the crowd-cheering, laurel wreath on the head kind of card. That means when it comes to feelings, who you asked about means this person is not making you feel all warm and fuzzy inside your own little bubble - this is something bold who is going to tell you soon. They know the way they feel, and what they want. Then they want to be seen with you. They believe that you make them look good, and more importantly that you are good. For them, this is a winning feeling.

On my card in the image above you see the lady kissing the universe. That card says someone has feelings for you. It is something to sit with. A little thing that does not really pop up in books is that this card means that the person you have asked about is thinking about you. If you draw the Six of Wands alongside the Chariot you can expect movement in this relationship. If you draw this along with the lovers then things will really spice up.

Six of Wands: His feelings towards you

When the Six of Wands comes up for his feelings, you make him proud to have you in his life or just the thought of you. I often see with clients he sees this connection - he has made a decision that feels good. He is not questioning himself or pulling back slowly. His feelings are present and moving with a sort of driving need.

Think of the rider waite image on this card - a rider going through a crowd with his head held high, arriving at some point. So he feels about you. And he wants to become associated with you. I feel it has allot of meaning and I feel this is more spiritual than anything. He is not putting this to himself or making it something uncertain. When you draw this look at the cards around this in order to understand the true picture.

Six of Wands: Her feelings towards you

If you see the Six of Wands for her feelings, she feels good about you and about where this is going. There is a sort of non-performative confidence here, for what its worth she is not convincing herself of anything. She thinks she chose well, which makes her feel light headed with butterflies, and at ease when she thinks of you. She feels certain about you. In my experience, when this card comes up in readings for her feelings, I tell people not to undervalue what it means to feel this settled about another person. It is a warm, confident card, the Six of Wands is willing to be known - not a quiet affection card.

Six of Wands: Ex Boyfriend / Ex Husband / Ex Girlfriend / Ex Wife has feelings for you

Pulling the Six of Wands for an ex's feelings to me indicates that you represented some high point for them - something they were good at.  But I always tell people to look more into this spread before they make a decision about a reunion when I read this card to exes. The Six of Wands represents that feeling and how someone chooses to feel is another matter entirely.

Six of Wands: How someone sees you

And when the card appears for what someone else thinks of you, they think you are someone worth thinking about. They think you carry yourself well, who raises the energy in whatever room or relationship they are in. It could be they believe being with you is one thing to be proud of. If you see this card as a suggestion about how someone sees you in a reading, remember to trust that you are being seen clearly and positively. They won't make you work harder for their approval, they know what is there.

Six of Wands as feelings - My Conclusion

This card comes up in so many readings and people want it to mean something more than it does, this is not about disclosing how they feel, it is seeing if you run the fastest or hardest for this love.

I am sorry to say on a more negative note, this isn't the card of serious feelings - I say that honestly in all my readings - and neither is the Six of Wands. It is a celebration card. Those are confident feelings, public feelings, winning feelings. It is not about the boring, quiet relationship.

What I have learned years into reading tarot and years into being into someone who did not feel the same, this is the best card ever is to remind you that you are somebody worth celebrating. I also want to say that you are worth choosing. It is just the universe waving a sign saying let’s really see? I find this card for feelings that things in this connection are looking up.
