Has Palmistry been long practised in Europe?
Occasional books have been published upon the subject since the year 1448, but it was not until the last fifty years or so that it was taken much notice of, although nearly all Eastern countries were acquainted with its principles thousands of years ago. It is to the Easterns ages that we are indebted for the preservation of the knowledge of the art.
