Many cultures hold heavy expectations in matters of fertility. Within Voodoo there is a Fertility Rite which is supposed to aid in fertility issues that might seem somewhat desperate to the outside observer, however, this ritual is known to be an honor to the woman as well as the man or men participating because the communal consciousness of propagation takes over the fear or judgment that might come should the woman or man continue to be barren.

The practice of Voodoo as we know it in today’s society has its origins in Louisiana which derived originally from those who were brought there from Africa as a result of the slave trade. Voodoo is a form of African folk magic that uses herbs, poisons and rituals utilizing charms or amulets to protect oneself from harm and the like which became a primary aspect of early Louisiana Voodoo. The beliefs of the African slaves had to be adapted to match their surroundings. Being that their religion was perpetuated through oral tradition mainly, they didn’t have anything in writing and were able to morph their beliefs of their deities and spirits into the form of the Saints in Catholicism that were followed within the French Colony.

Thelema is a known spiritual philosophy/religion that was founded by the renowned ceremonial magician, Aleister Crowley. Within the Thelemic belief system there is a concept known as True Will. The Turkey Curse is a curse that is placed on those who seek to harm you; it is used to disorient as well as to frighten off potential predators. This curse is known to be the most beneficial when you are in a circumstance in which you have lost the power or control of the situation. An example of this would be if you were to be randomly getting mugged on the street and you required immediate justice, you would use the Turkey Curse to debilitate your attackers. The first thing that you would do in the event of an attack is you would stop suddenly in your tracks, drop all of your stuff, and close your eyes. This confuses the attackers right away. But then you begin to yell out loud over and over again while you spin three times in a circle, ‘GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE,’ over again.

The lesser key of Solomon is a famous witch’s book or grimoire which details the appearance as well as the specific attributes of 72 spirits of the nether regions, or demons, which were evoked by King Solomon. Within the Bible, Solomon is referenced in a story between two fighting women who both claimed to be the mother of a newborn infant. Solomon suggests cutting the living child in half with a sword and the real mother reveals herself by being willing to give the baby up rather than see the baby killed.

There will always come a time in your life where everything seems bathed in negative energy. Maybe nothing is going your way anymore. In life, such a situation comes in multiples of three: you may one loose money, get a parking ticket and fall over all in the same day. So if negativity eats up some aspects of your life: business, love, luck, prosperity and money it is time to turn to the herbs. With all religions and beliefs, there are many ways by which to ward off evil and negativity. Every belief has its own remedy. When it comes to Haunted items, some people think that only a ring from an ancient dynasty or a doll that lived with a magician can be haunted. But truly, anything, literally anything can be taken over by the energy of not only a spirit, but of the residual emotions of the owner who once possessed it or even just someone who touched the object last. Everything has a vibration, even rocks, and when one vibration crosses paths with another vibration, especially if that vibration has a consciousness, such as in the case of humans, angels, demons, or the dead, then a higher vibration can in fact imbue itself into an object with a lower vibration.

When one thinks of their home, they don’t really think of it as an object so to speak, they think of it as their safe haven, the place they can come to hang their hat. Emotions exist; they have almost a visceral nature. When one is alive, the emotions can be absorbed into porous material. When one is dead, one can become attracted to the emotions one would exude in life and therefore stay in one spot for quite some time.
